Southern Soccer Academy Douglasville (as SSA White) offers Academy-level soccer training and game-play for both boys and girls at under 9 (U9), under 10 (U10), under 11 (U11), and under 12 (U12) years old.  The goal of the program is to prepare our players for Select-level soccer at U13 and above by developing their technical and tactical skills in a high quality training and playing environment where an enthusiasm for, and a commitment to, the game is nurtured and rewarded.

The program has over 80 boys and girls teams across the club, and is coached by experienced and highly-qualified staff coaches working within a club-wide curriculum developed by our Director of Coaching and our Academy Program Directors.

Players are offered the opportunity to accelerate their development by competing on a weekly basis in games against the best competition available from all over metro Atlanta, as well as attend pre- and post-season tournaments.

The program is designed for the player with a high level of commitment to his or her soccer development and has a greater time commitment, both in hours per week and in length of season, than is typical in our Recreational program.
